Awesome Ottawa Senators game-issued jersey from the 2014 Heritage Classic was done up for forward Mark Stone. Cream-colored beauty reversed the look of the Sens’ black retro jerseys and sports spectacular felt cresting and numbering along with the 2014 Heritage Classic patch sewn on the right breast. Ottawa defeated the Vancouver Canucks 4-2 in the first NHL outdoor game for both teams at B.C. Place on March 2, 2014. Stone did not play in the game, which saw the Sens’ overcome an early two-goal deficit with four unanswered goal. Stone has signed in bold black marker on the cream colored felt in the middle of the “6” in the No. 61 sewn on the back, which is outlined with base layers of black and red twill. A size 58 flag tag sits in the back of the neck and registry number K09470 is on the MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2013-2014 Season patch sewn inside the rear tail, though the jersey does not appear on the MeiGray population report. Stone’s game-issued jersey comes along with his B.C. Place locker nameplate (19 1/2" x 3 1/4") and an additional Stone Heritage Classic nameplate (9 1/4" x 3 1/4") from the game.
