A complete autograph collection encompassed into one lot, we have 24 hockey publications that have all been signed. There are books, media guides, programs and yearbooks, ranging from 1973-74 to 2013-14, with over 350 signatures present. We have Habs Sabres and Blues media guides from the late-1970s/early-1980s, Habs and Flyers yearbooks from the 1970s/1980s, Rangers’ yearbooks (2) from 2013-14 and All-Star Game programs from 2000, 2001 and 2008. We also have signed copies of The Days Canada Stood Still – Canada VS USSR 1972, The Spirit of the Game, and NHL – The World of Professional Ice Hockey. Some of the signers present include Lafleur, Perreault, Bower, Cournoyer, Parent, Clarke, Giacomin, the Richard bothers and many many more.
The breakdown for each of the offered publications are as follows. 1) Coverless publication from 1974-75. 70 have signed, with signatures present on each respective team page, and included are Redmond, Lemaire, Lapointe, Ratelle, Sittler, Perreault, Crozier, Apps, Parent, Lapointe and others. 2) 1979-80 Buffalo Sabres media guide. Signed by 16, included are Seiling, Sauve, Perreault, Gare and others. 3) 1980-81 St. Louis Blues media guide. 19 have signed including Federko, Francis, Liut and others. 4) 1979-80 Montreal Canadiens media guide. 18 have signed including Gainey, Lafleur, Savard, Lapointe and others. 5) 1980-81 Montreal Canadiens media guide. Signatures from 12 Habs are present, with Lafleur, Robinson, Gainey and others. 6) 1990-91 NY Rangers media guide. 38 signatures are included, with Richter, Nichols, Mullen, Leetch, Gartner and others. 7) 1991-92 NY Rangers media guide. 35 have signed, with Nichols, Richter, Patrick, Broten and others. 8) 1975-76 Philadelphia Flyers yearbook. 26 have signed, with Barber, Parent, Shero, Leach and others. 9) 1976-77 Philadelphia Flyers yearbook. 13 signatures are present, with Clarke, Crisp, Leach, Parent, Kelly, Dupont and others. 10) 1981-82 Philadelphia Flyers yearbook. Signers include Clarke, Barber, Saleski, Marsh and others, with 12 signatures present. 11) 1973-74 Montreal Canadiens program. 20 have laid pen to paper, with Pollock, Bowman, Cournoyer, Lafleur, Shutt, Savard and others. 12) 1978-79 Montreal Canadiens yearbook. 7 have signed this publication, with Lambert, Robinson, Langway, Napier and three more. 13) 1973-74 Boston Bruins yearbook. 21 have signed, with Sinden, Bucyk, Sanderson, Gilbert and others. 14) Rink Rat illustrated. One individual has signed this publication from 2004-05. 15) 1994 NY Islanders program. The cover has been signed by one. 16) 2001 All-Star Game program. Six individuals have signed the cover. 17) 2000 All-Star Game program. Three individuals have signed the cover. 18) 2008 All-Star Game program. Two individuals have signed the cover. 19 & 20) 2013-14 NY Rangers yearbooks (2). Both have been covered signed by Talbot, Stepan and McDonagh. 21) Maple Leafs Moments. The first page within the cover has been signed by Johnny Bower. 22) The Days Canada Stood Still. The cover has been signed by Red Berenson and Dennis Hull. 23) NHL – The World of Professional Ice Hockey. 28 have signed the interior of this hardcover, including Lessard, Gilbert, Beck, Johnston, Hickey, Bourne, Greschner, Tony Esposito and others. 24) The Spirit of the Game. Henri Richard has signed the cover, with Giacomin, Nystrom and Rocket Richard signing inside. The publications/books all have varying degrees of wear, with the earlier examples worse off. A few of the media guides have loose pages, while most of the yearbooks exhibit expected handling wear, with cover creases, toning and spine wear. The majority of the signatures are pleasing, with a few examples of the signed covers (including Richard) exhibiting loss/fading.
