Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017

Feared by netminders across the league for his lethal wrist shot, Joe Sakic was also one of the league’s most consistent players during his tenure, averaging over a point-a-game throughout his 20-year career. This stick was used by the Burnaby native while with Colorado in the mid-2000s, and it’s been signed. An Easton Stealth model with “19 Sakic” factory graphics, a serial number of “41568” has been added to the underside. The stick retains its tape on the handle and knob, but it’s been removed from the blade so the Hall of Famer could add a large and thick silver paint pen signature, and it displays perfectly. Game-wear is light to moderate, with marks and wear along the lower shaft, along with a few small chips to the finish at the top of the heel section.
