Mr. Game 7 himself, Justin Williams, wore this L.A. Kings Stanley Cup Playoffs gamer during the ultimate game of the 2013 Western Conference semi-finals. This game-worn jersey with a size 56 flag tag in the neck is photo-matched to Williams wearing it during Game 7 on May 28 when he scored both Kings goals in the second period of a 2-1 win against San Jose. Getty Images photo #169932103 from Game 7 against the Sharks provides matches to the team repair on the right shoulder, the diagonal slash in the "4" of the No. 14 on the right sleeve, and to the small black marks below it in the grey stripe. Also photo-matched to a first-round game, this 2013 playoff gamer comes with a Kings LOA.
There are two material-backed team repairs on the lower left sleeve and more game wear shows in board burns and an unrepaired burn hole on the right sleeve.
“Los Angeles Kings Official Game Jersey, 2013 Season, Darren Granger, Equipment Manager” reads the team patch sewn inside the right rear tail. “MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2012-2013 Season” patch sewn inside the left rear tail has a registry number that shows in the population report that this is a “Black Set 3 / playoffs” gamer.
The material backed-team repair on the lower left sleeve is matched to Game 4 of the Kings’ WC quarter-final against St. Louis. Williams scored the game-winning goal in the Kings’ 4-3 win in Game 4 against the Blues on May 6, which evened the series at 2-2. L.A. won the next two games to take the series in six. The photo-match is from Getty Images photo #168208005.
Williams has 14 points in Games 7, a record for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and his seven goals in Games 7 is tied for the NHL playoff record. His two goals against the Sharks were the most he scored in any Game 7. He played four Games 7 with the Kings and only wore two jerseys in those four games, this one and his 2013-14 White Set #3, which he wore in three Games 7 on his way to winning the Conn Smythe Trophy.
