Currently with the Swiss National Team in a coaching capacity, defenceman Tommy Albelin would compete in 18 NHL seasons, with his first two spent in Quebec. This Nordiques jersey was worn by the Swede in his rookie season of 1987-88. The somewhat detached Maska Ultrafil tag remains in collar, with an additional embroidered CCM crest on the back bottom hem. The identifiers have all been heat-pressed on other than the partially embroidered double-twill team crest, with the back name on nameplate also heat-pressed on. The fleur de lys emblems that sit above the front and back hem and over each shoulder are all intact, with just a pair showing loss. We should also note a born-on date tag of “86 04” sits behind the collar tagging, with no evidence of a former nameplate or signs of a removed Rendez-Vous 87 patch.
Game-wear on the defunct garment includes marks on the lower front striping band, with a few board burns present along with pilling to the interior. There are also 7 team repairs present, with 4 examples on the left sleeve, and 3 on the right.
