Fans of the Toronto Maple Leafs who collect lumber will be in awe of the following lot, with 13 total sticks including 10 game-used examples as well as a pair of signed Leafs souvenir sticks, along with an example issued to Felix Potvin. The 10 game sticks were used by Damphousse, Perreault, Intranuovo, Momesso, Mironov (2), Krushelnyski, Osborne, Pearson and Mike Eastwood. All ten sticks retain their tape jobs on the blades and handles, with the majority also having their numbers handwritten on the upper shafts. 5 examples have also been signed, with Damphousse, Osborne, Krushelnyski, Pearson and Mike Eastwood, while one of the offered Mironov sticks has been team-signed by 17 in blue marker. All sticks show varying degrees of wear, with none excessively damaged. The souvenir sticks are identical Sher-Wood models with “Toronto Maple Leafs” graphics, with one featuring autographs from the late-1980s, while the other example has signatures from the early-1990s. The 1980s stick includes 18 signatures to the front side of the blade, all in blue of course, with Allan Bester, Vincent Damphousse, Daniel Marois, Dan Daoust, Dave Reid, Tom Fergus and others. The 1990s stick also features blue marker signatures applied to the front side of the shaft totaling 14, with Glen Anderson on top and Mike Foligno, Lucien DeBlois, Wendel Clark, Dave Ellett, Rob Pearson and others. Both sticks remain in very good condition, while the signatures display well with next to no fading. Lastly, the Felix Potvin game-issued stick is a KOHO Revolution model, with “F. Potvin” stamped onto the upper shaft. With no damage and just light storage wear, there is also a date stamp on the upper shaft of “24 AOUT 1995”.
