The 2016 edition of the popular Stadium Series included two games, with the first featuring the-then current Stanley Cup champion Chicago Black Hawks taking on the Minnesota Wild in front of over 50,000 fans at the TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. This Black Hawks jersey was worn most likely in the warm-up prior to the contest by Russian forward Artemi Panarin, with this being his rookie season. Size tagging along with a Reebok name band remains attached to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a gorgeous and partially embroidered Black Hawks team crest, the solid white garment has been accented with oversized tackle twill shoulder numbers, along with matching embroidered tomahawk patches on each sleeve between the striping bands. Four red stars have been screened-on along the left side of the collar, with the important 2016 Stadium Series crest residing at the top of the right sleeve. Visible game-wear includes just a few faint marks on the lower front and on the right sleeve. A MeiGray patch sits on the inside hem, and its numbered M07812. Panarin would finish his rookie campaign with 77 points, more than enough to garner the coveted Calder Memorial Trophy as the league’s top rookie. An LOA from the NHLPA will accompany.
