Toronto Blue Jays signatures abound in this lot, with 34 signed balls, 10 signed 8” x 10” photos (with duplication), 2 team-signed composite photos and 11 signed baseball cards. Three of the offered balls signed by Olerud, Molitor and Alomar have been placed into an attractive wood and plexiglass display case, with a plaque stating “1993 A.L. Batting Champions”. Other single-signed balls include Roger Clemens (2), Nolan Ryan, Ferguson Jenkins (2), Roberto Alomar, Tom Henke, Joe Carter and Candy Moldonado (2), while we have team-signed balls from 1982, 1991 (3) and 1994. The photos include signatures from Randy Knorr, Duane Ward and others, while the signed baseball cards feature 8 different examples signed by Sandy Alomar Jr.
The two matching team-signed composite 1992 Upper Deck pictures are 8” x 10”, with signatures from Carter, Maldonado, Stieb, Olerud, White and others. The 1993 A.L. Batting Champion balls have nice signatures on the Olerud and Molitor balls, with the Alomar ball’s signature heavily faded, along with staining to the ball. The other 22 identified balls are as follows. 1) Joe Carter single signed Rawlings “Official 1993 World Series” ball. The signature shows fading, with staining to the ball. 2 & 3) Multi-signed balls with Carter, Delgado and one other. Rawlings official A.L. balls, the balls and signatures present well, with one ball exhibiting staining. 4) Jays signed Rawlings official A.L. ball. Signatures are heavily faded with toning/discolouration to the ball, it includes Wells, Stieb, Maldonado and others. 5) Circa-1982 Jays team-signed Rawlings official A.L. ball. 26 have signed including Murray, Barfield, Hernandez, Cox, Whitt, Leal, Eichhorn and others. Many signatures show fading, with a few stains to the ball. 6) 1991 Jays team-signed Rawlings official A.L. ball. 10 signatures are visible (with some faded beyong recognition) including Carter, Gaston, Weathers, Horsman, Grueber, Sprague and others. The ball shows heavy toning with scuffs, with most of the legible signatures presenting well. 7) Candy Maldonado single signed Rawlings official A.L. Brown ball. The signature in ballpoint presents well, with a dedication. 8) Candy Maldonado single signed Rawlings official Brown ball. The signature is across the sweet spot, with the ball exhibiting toning with scuffs. 9) Rawlings official A.L. Brown ball signed by Mike Huff and Dick Schofield. The signatures are perfect with a few stains to the ball. 10) Mid-1990’s Jays multi-signed Rawlings official A.L. Brown ball. 7 have signed including White, Gonzalez, Delgado, Timlin and others. Signatures present well with light toning to the ball. 11) 1994 Jays multi-signed Rawlings official A.L. Brown ball. 13 have signed with the signatures presenting well, with heavy toning, stains and scuffs. 12) Tom Henke single signed Rawlings official A.L. Brown ball. The signature is dark with toning and light staining to the ball. 13) Nolan Ryan single signed Rawlings official A.L. Brown ball. A perfect signature signed across the sweet spot, with a few spots of staining/discolouration to the ball. 14) Roger Clemens single signed 1997 limited-edition World Series advertising ball. The signature is dark and bold, with no issues to the ball. 15) Roger Clemens single signed Rawlings official A.L. ball. Sweet spot signature extremely faded, with toning and light staining to the ball. 16) 1991 Jays multi-signed Rawlings official A.L. Brown ball. 23 have signed including Stieb, White, Olerud, Gaston, Key, Hentgen, Maldonado, Henke, Tenace and others with a few signatures faded beyond recognition. 17) Ferguson Jenkins single signed Rawlings official 1994 All-Star Game ball. Signature along the sweet spot and faded, with toning and staining to the ball. 18) Ferguson Jenkins single signed Rawlings official N.L. ball. Signature along the sweet spot and faded, with toning and staining to the ball. 19) Roberto Alomar single signed Cooper official league ball. A perfect sweet spot signature in ballpoint with a dedication. 20) Multi-signed Rawlings official A.L. ball. 13 signatures are present including Kirby Puckett with some fading, with a few heavy stains to the ball. 21) 1991 Jays team-signed Rawlings official A.L. Brown ball. 19 have signed including Carter, Cisco, White, Grueber, Olerud, Gaston, Stieb and others with many heavily faded. 22) May 25th 1977 game ball Toronto vs Oakland. Signed by Armas, Newman and Vida Blue, the ball shows stains along with toning and scuffs.
