Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
Prior to the Bruins vs Maple Leafs contest on Wednesday January 21 2009, the Maple Leafs came out in the warmup wearing "Ace" jerseys in honour of Ace Bailey, similar to what they had done for the Ace Bailey Benefit Game in 1934. This example was worn in the warmup by Dominic Moore. Reebok and CCM size tagging appears in the collar, with an additional Reebok crest over the back neckline. Featuring “Ace” across the front along with a vintage-style Leafs crest over the left breast, the jersey also has tackle twill numbers and no nameplate. The team patch sits on the inside hem, with Moore adding a beautiful signature at the top of the “C” of “Ace”, with it exhibiting just the slightest amount of bleeding.
