Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
Remembered for administering the hit that ended Howie Morenz’s career, rough and rugged Earl Seibert was said to be the only player that even Eddie Shore feared. This lot contains a stick that’s been signed by the deceased Hall of Famer. A circa-1970 Northland Mustang model, the full size 53” stick features a fiberglass wrapped blade, along with a Larson Industries Inc. stamp on the upper shaft. Seibert has signed midway up the shaft in marker along with a dedication “To Gagnon”. Likely fashioned in Seibert’s final years, the signature is a shaky example that exhibits some slight fading. A PSA/DNA sticker has been affixed to the lower shaft, and an LOA from JSA will accompany.
