Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
A number of signatures are up for grabs here, all administered onto the two offered sticks. We have a stick used by Eddie Joyal and team-signed by the 1963-64 Detroit Red Wings, along with an “NHL Oldtimers” example, signed by 34. The Joyal stick is a Northland Pro model, with “Joyal” stamped midway up the shaft. The Olympic Sporting Goods supplier stamp appears on both sides, with “21” handwritten on the upper shaft. 15 have signed in ballpoint, with some signatures heavily faded. Included are Howe, Delvecchio, Ullman, MacDonald, Henderson, Spencer, MacMillan and others. The oldtimers stick features a plain white shaft with “NHL Oldtimers” on both sides of the shaft. The signatures have been executed in a number of different mediums, and included are Nevin, Prentice, Reise, Redmond, Kelly, Bathgate, Baun, Shack and others. Originally from the personal collection of John Miszuk.
