Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
A seven-year star left winger with the Montreal Maroons, Hall-of-Famer Albert “Babe” Seibert appears here in the uniforms of his three other NHL squads, with two of his rookie cards picturing him with the Rangers after he helped them to the Stanley Cup in 1932-33. Babe’s ’33-34 O-Pee-Chee #49 RC is VG, as is his #8 Ice Kings RC, with an Oldtime Great card (#62) from Parkhurst’s ’55-56 issue a nice crease-free EX-EX+. A trimmed '34-35 Montreal Forum program insert by Sweet Caporal is approx. 7” by 8” and creased but provides a swell colorized view of Siebert with the Boston Bruins with whom he moved back to defence.
