Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
Summit Series hero and scorer of the most important goal in hockey history, Paul Henderson spent 12 seasons in the NHL, along with another 5 in the WHA. In this lot we have a signed display honouring Henderson, along with a signed stick that’s presented in an elegant display case. The display features and 8” x 10” image of Henderson in his Leafs jersey with a plaque below listing his time spent in Ontario. A Leafs MLG banner sits next to the photo, with an MLG pin placed beneath. Framed to total dimensions of 23 ½” x 26 ½”, Paul has signed near the bottom of his image, with the signature exhibiting slight fading. The Sher-Wood stick has been signed across the blade with a personalization, and it’s set in a 17” x 2” x 73” case. The signature on the stick is flawless, while the dark finished display case shows no wear or damage. The display piece features the signed photo and MLG banner double-matted, with just a pair of light blemishes on the top of the frame itself to mention. A letter of evaluation will accompany.
