Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
The not-so-famous brother of The Great One, in this lot we have a stick used by Brent Gretzky during the 1992-95 time frame, when he saw action with both Tampa Bay and the IHL’s Atlanta Knights. “Gretzky” and “49” appear on the upper shaft, with the stick retaining its original tape jobs on the blade and shaft/knob. Featuring a custom-shaved handle, the stick shows nice use with wear along the taped section of blade and on the lower shaft. There is also some surface loss along the frontside of the shaft. This is the idea item for the Gretzky completist who is looking for something unique for his collection.
