Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
An integral component of Detroit’s “Russian Five”, Vyacheslav Kozlov won a pair of Cups while in Motown in 1997 and 1998. This Red Wings jersey was worn by Kozlov in the 2000-01 playoffs. CCM and size tagging appears in the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with attractive tackle twill numbers and letters, the back name has been sewn directly onto the jersey. The team stamp resides on the inside hem, denoting the garment as a “Playoff Set” example. Heavy game-use is visible, with numerous marks present on the lower front and sleeves, along with board burns. There are also 9 team repairs split between both sleeves.
