The veteran of over 900 NHL games, Doug Crossman played for a number of clubs throughout his career including Philadelphia, Los Angeles, New York, Hartford, Detroit, Tampa Bay and St. Louis. This Detroit Red Wings jersey was worn by Crossman in 1991-92. Maska, size and Eastside tagging remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM patches on the back bottom hem. Styled with tackle twill numbers and letters, the jersey features an attractive and classic winged wheel team crest with the back name letters placed directly onto the sweater. The NHL 75th anniversary patch sits over the right breast, while the fight strap has been cut off and removed.
Visible game-wear on the garment includes a large stick mark on the lower front, along with faint board burns on the right sleeve. There is also a small stain on the lower right front.
