Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
From his third of six All-Star Game appearances, we have Rick Nash’s 2008 Western Conference jersey that was worn in the first period. Size 56 CCM tagging appears in the collar, with NHL and NHLPA crests on the front neckline and back bottom hem respectively. Styled with a gorgeous “West” team crest, the 2008 NHL All-Star Game patch sits over the left shoulder, while a Columbus Blue Jackets patch sits on the right. With no noticeable wear, Nash has added a nice and dark signature near the back number “6”. Originally sold to benefit the Hockey Fights Cancer program, the MeiGray patch numbered E09930 sits on the inside hem, and a matching LOA will accompany.
We should note that the jersey does exhibit some staining around the collar section, along with the shoulders, but it is minor and doesn’t affect the garments display value. There is also a handwritten “1” present on the intact fight strap.
