Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Officiating in almost 1,200 regular-season contests throughout his career, Ron Hoggarth first donned the black and white in 1971, and can boast an impressive resume that includes 150 Stanley Cup playoff games and three All-Star contests. From the NHL’s 75th anniversary season in 1991-92, we have a referee’s jersey worn by the Barrie native. A Maska label and size “50” fly tag are affixed to the collar (with “Hoggie” handwritten), with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with an NHL shield crest over the left breast, “Hoggarth” is sewn to the nameplate in single white twill, with the NHL 75th patch residing on the upper right sleeve. Remaining in gorgeous condition sporting light use, there is a small stain over the lower front to mention – possibly blood.
