A household name in Detroit, Chris Osgood spent 14 seasons in the Motor City, capturing three Stanley Cups with the club. This blocker and glove was used by Osgood in 1996-97. A Vaughn B2500 “Legacy” model blocker and T5500 glove, “Osgood” is embroidered onto each. In Detroit red with white accents, all of the strapping and lacing remains intact. Each have screened-on and embroidered identifiers, with a patent number listed across the trapper’s wrist strap. Both show great use, with puck marks present on the pocket of the glove and face of the blocker, as well as some red paint transfer along the palm section of the blocker. Osgood has signed across the back finger section of the glove, with the black ink signature presenting well.
