Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
Known for his under pressure brilliance, Grant Fuhr was definitely one of the greatest modern “money” goaltenders, as he was always able to compete at the highest level during the most important of games. This lot contains a glove used by Fuhr in the 1990’s, and it’s been signed. A Canadian-made Brown model with tagging intact, cloth patches are located on the wrist guard and finger protector along with handwritten “31” on the interior. In solid white, all of the original strapping and lacing remains intact. The glove shows good use, with a number of puck marks on the pocket section and wrist guard. Fuhr has added a solid black marker signature over the wrist guard, with the signature presenting beautifully.
