The 1950-51 Detroit Red Wings followed up their Stanley Cup win from the previous season with their third straight regular season title. Legendary Red Wings GM Jack Adams received this 1950-51 NHL Champions tray to commemorate Detroit’s 44-13-13 season and third straight Prince of Wales Trophy win in what would prove to be a record run of seven straight regular season titles. “Detroit Hockey Club Inc. NHL Champions 1950-1951 John J.Jack Adams, Manager” is engraved in the middle of the 10 1/2" x 14” silver tray. “P – Copper, Sheffield Reproduction” is stamped on the reverse below a few hallmarks. Wonderfully preserved with light surface scratches, it comes with a letter of provenance.
