Seeing action in the skilled hands of the superstar netminder for two games during the 2000-01 NHL season with Dallas, we offer a signed stick used by HOFer Ed Belfour. First called to duty in the January 17, 2001 overtime victory over the Nashville Predators, the stick also saw use against San Jose on Jan 27th. A Christian model with “Belfour” stamped, his trademark eagle has been affixed at the heel, with the original black tape on the blade and handle, and white over the knob. The original striping accent is also intact beneath the tape on the handle, with Belfour adding a silver sharpie signature at the heel just beneath the eagle. Both sides of the blade tape have been waxed along the base, with "Game Used" handwritten on the underside of the upper shaft along with "10/17/01", with "1/27 Sharks" added in marker to the knob (the game was actually played on the 26th). Light to moderate game-use is exhibited, with wear to the underside of the blade and a few marks to the shaft and taped section of knob. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from the Ed Belfour will accompany.
