Earning his fourth and final William M. Jennings Trophy during his time with Dallas in 1999 - a season that also witnessed the Stars and HOFer capture a Stanley Cup championship, Ed Belfour would spend five seasons in Texas which included a trio of appearances at the NHL All-Star Game. From his time with the Stars in the early-2000s, we have a signed stick used by the superstar netminder. A Christian model with “Belfour” stamped, his partially-covered trademark eagle has been affixed at the heel, with the original black tape on the blade and handle, and white over the knob. The original striping accent is also intact beneath the tape on the handle, with Belfour adding a gold sharpie signature at the top of the paddle. Both sides of the blade tape have been waxed along the base, with red paint - possibly from game transfer - visible over the top section of the front side blade and along the top edge of the paddle. There is also paint transfer to the taped knob, with a notation on the underside of the upper shaft that states "Game Used - Broken". Despite this, the stick appears completely solid with no cracks or breaks. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from the Ed Belfour will accompany.
