Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
South Florida was the final NHL stop for HOF goalie Ed Belfour, whose time with the Panthers was short but memorable. Belfour set a Panthers record by playing 27 consecutive games and he recorded his 76th and final NHL shutout with Florida to tie Tony Esposito for eighth place on the all-time list. This lot is comprised of three variations of Reebok Premier game-used sticks employed by Eddie the Eagle while playing in South Florida. Each is stamped with a variation of “Ed Belfour 4” on the shaft and has his original tape jobs on the blade, handle and knob and game wear in the form of black marks and red goalpost paint transfer. Comes with Ed Belfour's signed LOA.
