Honoured by the Dallas Stars for playing in his 500th NHL game, Ed Belfour was presented with this stunning Tag Heuer watch by the club, with the milestone reached on Nov 13, 1998. A 6000 Gold Chronometer model water-resistant to 200 meters and featuring a unidirectional turning bezel and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, "Ed Belfour Dallas Stars 500 NHL Games 11-13-98" has been engraved over the reverse casing, with “18K” stamped. Additional stampings are visible on the bracelet, including "Gold 18K" and "FC5005". Currently in working order, the watch is accompanied by its original leather sleeve, attractively labeled wooden storage box (5” x 5” x 3 ½”) and outer retail box (a sticker on the underside has “Ed Belfour” handwritten, while a second sticker lists the watch’s retail price of $8,400.00). A signed LOA from Ed Belfour will accompany.
The watch appears to have never been used and is in outstanding condition with just very light handling wear, with the inner leather sleeve showing deterioration/peeling, with this affecting the leather section of the wooden storage box the leather sleeve was in constant contact with.
