Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Currently serving as the second incarnation of the Winnipeg Jets, the Atlanta Thrashers existed from 1999-2011, advancing to the Stanley Cup playoffs just a single time. We have a Thrashers jersey from the club’s inaugural season of 1999-00, worn by netminder Damian Rhodes. A CCM “Goalie Style” label with attached size “58” fly tag is affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a polychromatic team crest with embroidered detailing, the V-neck sweater has been accented with white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers with gold trim, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. The NHL 2000 patch is not present and was most likely removed so the jersey could be recycled for the following preseason. With just very light wear present, the jersey remains in wonderful condition.
