This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Paying homage to the last Montreal Canadiens’ netminder to wear the #33 jersey before Patrick Roy, this vintage 1970s goal mask was produced by Jacques Plante’s noteworthy Fibrosport company, and sports a similar design to the mask worn by 1979 Stanley Cup champion Richard Sevigny during his time with les Canadiens. Adult size at approx 11” from top to chin and finished in solid white with a red and blue design, the back plate is a period replacement, with no interior padding present. Sporting just light overall wear throughout, there are a few scratches and marks to the surface, with no cracks or breaks.
