Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
The Swedish Hockey League’s first leading scorer in 1975-76, Lars-Erik Ericsson won a pair of Swedish Championships throughout his career, and represented Sweden at the Canada Cup as well as the World Championships. This vintage jersey was worn by Ericsson while representing Sweden in the late-1970s. A Sportsjohan label is affixed to the collar, with the jersey measuring-out to roughly a size 48. Featuring a rubberized team crest, “14” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with advertising over the upper reverse (there is evidence of a former nameplate that was placed over the advertising). Showing nice use, the jersey sports wear to the identifiers, with a large stick mark beneath the team crest. There is also a large team repair over each sleeve, along with a small example over the front band. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
