This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
A member of the Memorial Cup All-Star Team in 1991-92, Turner Stevenson was selected 12th overall by les Canadiens in 1990, with parts of eight seasons spent in Quebec before additional NHL seasons with New Jersey and Philadelphia. Stevenson was an alternate captain in 1999-2000, and at some point during the season he wore this Canadiens captain's jersey as team captain Saku Koivu was absent for a good portion of the season, only playing in 24 games. A Pro Player label and “58” size tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered Pro Player and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, the red V-neck has been accented with white-over-blue tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the NHL 2000 crest over the right breast. Exhibiting faint burns over each sleeve, there are also a few marks and a very small hole over the lower front. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle on Montreal Canadiens letterhead will accompany.
