Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
A classic-style defenceman, large and able to use his physical prowess effectively, Jassen Cullimore rose through the ranks with Peterborough before being drafted by Vancouver. Cullimore dressed for five different NHL clubs including Montreal, Tampa Bay and Chicago. From his second of parts of two seasons with the Habs, we have a Canadiens jersey worn by the Simcoe native in 1997-98. A CCM “Goalie Style” label and size “58” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “35” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Cullimore” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Sporting very light game-use with a few marks visible and evidence of washing on the fight strap, there are signs of a former shorter nameplate, with Donald Brashear wearing the #35 jersey before Cullimore (Brashear was traded for Cullimore). An LOA from the Montreal Canadiens will accompany.
