Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Originally seeing pre-season and/or training camp use during the mid-1990s, this Montreal Canadiens jersey was used by an unknown prospect named “Buchholz”. Maska and size “48” labels are affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “18” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Buchholz” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Sporting light use with a few random marks visible including over the right sleeve, there is also some pilling to the collar, with the fight strap showing evidence of multiple washings. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
