Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Skating for the majority of his career in his home province with the Montreal Canadiens, Benoit Brunet won a Stanley Cup championship with the Habs in 1993 and scored 262 career goals in his 539 NHL contests. From the late-1990s, circa 1997-98, we have a Canadiens jersey issued to the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue native. A single size “54” fly tag is affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “17” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Brunet” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Issued but never worn, the jersey remains in gorgeous new condition. An LOA from the Montreal Canadiens will accompany.
