Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Selected by the New York Rangers during the team’s Stanley Cup championship season of 1994, Sylvain Blouin made his NHL debut for the Blueshirts in 1996-97 before a single season with Fredericton in 1998-99, where he saw action in 5 games with the parent club Montreal Canadiens. This Canadiens jersey was issued to Blouin for the 1998-99 NHL season. Featuring Starter Center Ice labeling affixed to the collar, there is also a "58-G" swatch residing on the inside hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “53” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Blouin” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. Game issued, the jersey remains in gorgeous new condition, with just a few small marks visible, with the possibility of very light use. An LOA from the Montreal Canadiens will accompany.
