Great group of 7 Toronto Maple Leafs contracts and documents that includes a 1-page 1964 “Try-Out Agreement” for goaltender Jerry Desjardins (more commonly known as “Gerry”), signed by Desjardins and the legendary Punch Imlach. From 1979 is a 1-page typed letter on MLG letterhead to forward Laurie Boschman, explaining the amount the Leafs will pay him if he’s returned to the WHL Brandon Wheat Kings, and nicely signed by Boschman, Punch Imlach, and witness Bill Watters. Also from 1979 is a 1-page Standard Assignment Agreement detailing a trade between Hartford and Toronto involving Robert Stephenson and Pat Boutette, signed on the bottom by Hartford GM Jack Kelly and the Leafs Punch Imlach. And 4 documents involving Leafs forward Doug Acomb – a 1969 Player’s Contract signed by Acomb, Jim Gregory, Howard Starkman, and league prez Clarence Campbell; a 1969 Option Agreement for Acomb detailing salary if assigned to the CPHL, WHL, AHL, or NHL, signed by Bob Davidson (twice), and Acomb; a 1968 Standard Assignment Agreement for Acomb (between the Portland Hockey Club and MLG), signed by Punch Imlach; and a 1971 Voluntary Retired List form signed by Acomb, Jim Gregory, and Howard Starkman. All documents remain in outstanding condition, with only the Acomb 1969 “Option Agreement” to mention, which shows some faint stains.
