Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Brand new Hall of Famer Rob Blake has signed his name in clear black marker on the heel of his Koho gamer used during the 1996 World Cup of Hockey when the big defenceman suited up for the Canadian squad. This gamer, showing a plethora of game use with marks land tape wear, had at one time tape covering the entire length of the shaft but has been removed, although residue remains. The shaft also shows a very faint "Blake" stamped below the knob which has original tape and gauze, along with the blade also retaining its original tape job. Nice game-used stick from a fellow with a Stanley Cup, a Norris Trophy, an Olympic gold, and 2 World Championship golds under his belt.
