Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
A couple of great WHL game-worn jerseys up for grabs here from the Prince George Cougars and Regina Pats, beginning with a Cougars’ gamer worn by defenceman Martin Marincin during the 2010-11 season. Tagged in the collar as a “Reebok CHL” with a size “56” flap attached, this gamer from a fellow who laced them up with the Edmonton Oilers in the 2013-14 campaign has a nice sampling of marks, board burns, and paint transfer on the front and sleeves, along with several unrepaired holes on the right sleeve. A “WHL” patch is sewn on the right breast, and on the back hem is a “CHL” crest sewn on, with evidence of a former nameplate on the back. Marincin, originally from Slovakia and drafted by the Edmonton Oilers, came to North America for the 2010-11 season when this jersey was worn, and in the 2013-14 campaign skated with the Oilers for 44 games after playing the first part of the season with the AHL Oklahoma City Barons. Jersey comes with an LOA signed by a representative of the Cougars. From the Regina Pats is winger Scott Doucet’s game-worn jersey from the 2007-08 season, his first of two years with the Saskatchewan club after stints with Prince Albert and Red Deer. Tagged in the collar as a “Reebok CHL” with a size “58” flap below (and a team store price tag), this gamer, showing light game wear and evidence of a former nameplate, has a “WHL” patch sewn on the right breast and “CHL” on the back hem. Comes with an LOA signed by a representative of the Regina Pats.
