Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

From hardrock winger Ken Belanger is his L.A. Kings Set 2 jersey worn during the 2001-02 campaign when the Kings wore “AM” patches on the left breast in honor of scouts Garnet “Ace” Bailey and Mark Bavis who were aboard United Airlines Flight 175 on 9/11. Tagged in the collar as a size “58”, this stylish gamer has the “2002 NHL All-Star Game” patch sewn on the right breast, and although game wear is light, marks are noticeable on both sleeves, the v-collar shows a repair using heavy purple stitching, and on the upper left sleeve, above the crown patch, is another team repair. On the inside hem is a “Los Angeles Kings 2001-02 Set 2” patch with Kings equipment manager Peter Millar’s circled initials. A great double-patched Kings/Belanger jersey that comes with a LOA signed by team executive Dave Taylor, and includes a MeiGray registration number. An additional LOA is included as well.
