Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

Double lumber here with game-used sticks wielded by big time sniper Dave Andreychuk and tough yet talented Dale Hunter. Andreychuk’s 1990s Buffalo Sabres CCM Tacks wood gamer has his original black tape on the blade and white tape on the handle and has, along with a series of marks scattered about, a stamped “Andreychuk” on the upper shaft and “336 2” stamped on the lower shaft. Andreychuk has signed his name in clear and bold silver marker at the top of the shaft. Great game-used stick from a guy with huge numbers – 640 goals and 698 assists in 1639 regular season games. From feisty Dale Hunter’s 1983-84 campaign with the Quebec Nordiques is a wood Titan TMP with original black tape on the blade and white knob tape. Hunter has signed in clear black marker on the heel of this gamer, and a nice scattering of marks make their way up the shaft which has “D. Hunter” stamped near the top and the date “Fev. 28, 1984” closer to the blade. Definitely a nice twig from a fellow who not only managed more than 1000 points in just over 1400 games, but also collected 3563 penalty minutes along the way.
