A couple of sticks signed by the U.S.A. squads who took part in the 1987 Canada Cup and the 1996 World Cup of Hockey, beginning with a Scot Kleinendorst game-used Sher-Wood stick from the '87 training camp, with the stick, that features original tape on the blade and knob and the date "18 Aout 1987" on the shaft, having white tape placed along the shaft where approximately 23 U.S. players have nicely signed using blue ballpoint pen, with most completely clear and legible and include the likes of Chelios, Hatcher, Suter,and Langway. The other signed stick is an unused Koho with sigs in blue and black marker and include Hull, Modano, Weight, Amonte, and approximately 21 others.
Along with those mentioned, others who have signed the '87 Canada Cup stick include Hirsch, Brooke, Carson, Mullen, Ramsay, Mullen, Fraser, Ellett, Presley, Johnson, T. Esposito, Carson, Mason, Olczyk, Otto, and a few others. The '96 USA World Cup stick is also signed by (some are difficult to decipher) Leclair, Deadmarsh, Leetch, Tkachuk, Smolinski, Young, Wilson (coach), Richter, Otto, Kevin and Derian Hatcher, Chambers, Hebert, Guerin, Lafontaine, Konowalchuk, and McEachern.
