Some four dozen colorful 1952 Bowman cards here exhibit some light to moderate handling and wear but no real abuse and generally range from G to VG-EX+, with VG as the average and with a VG+ Duke Snider card leading the star power. At VG-EX are #s 75-Kell, 115-Doby and 146-Durocher, while lesser at G are 11-Kiner and 80-Hodges, with an otherwise VG 145-Mize card featuring a one-time owner’s name penned on the back. We count (18) crease-free cards which fall into the VG-EX and VG-EX+ grades (a few commons make it to EX); #s 74, 150, 151-Rosen, 152, 153, 158, 159, 161-Jensen, 162-Irvin, 163-168, 169-Roe (ST) and 172-175. The remainder are VG or lower; #s 81, 89, 91, 110, 112-114, 117, 122, 125, 126, 137-140, 147-149, 154, 155, 157, 170, 171 and 180, with a dozen of the latter group showing subtle signs of staining/discoloration spots on the back.
