A great way to promote the newly-formed World Hockey Association was with these 20 different Slurpee cups showcasing various players and teams, with each cup 5 ¼” high and 3 ¼” in diameter at the top. These great cups were offered free at 7-Elevens with every Slurpee purchase, and yes, we have the complete set. Aside from a sprinkling of small marks in places and some wear on the 7-Eleven logo on Wayne Carleton’s, all are in excellent, crack-free condition, and which includes the Winnipeg Jets’ Bobby Hull, Chris Bordeleau, and Norm Beaudin; Chicago Cougar’s Jimmy McLeod; Cleveland Crusaders’ Gerry Cheevers; Ron Ward, John McKenzie, and Danny Lawson of the Vancouver Blazers; John Edward Schella of the Houston Aeros; Ted Green of New England Whalers; Andre Lacroix of the New York Golden Blades; Jack Norris, Jim Harrison, and Allan Hamilton of the Alberta Oilers; the Toronto Toros’ Wayne Carleton and Carl Brewer; from the Minnesota Fighting Saints is Wayne Connelly; Jean-Claude Tremblay and Jean-Guy Gendron of the Quebec Nordiques; and Jim Watson of the Los Angeles Sharks.
