The Pride of Slovakia, goalie Jaroslav Halak led his country on a stunning run at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. Halak’s incredible performance gave Slovakia a 2-1 shootout win over Russian in the round robin phase setting up a 4-3 upset of reigning gold medalists Sweden in their quarter-final. After losing to Canada, Slovakia had a 3-1 lead over Finland in the bronze medal game before faltering in the third as Halak and his teammates came oh-so-close to giving their country its first Olympic hockey medal. Jaro has signed in blue marker on this magnificent 16x20 shot of him wearing his nation’s colors in Vancouver. Tastefully displayed in a white matte with a blue accent, this superb shot is mounted in a 23” x 27” black frame which comes with a Classic Auctions COA. And that’s not all! Halak has signed in blue marker on ten (10) of number “4” twill jersey numerals which come with a Classic Auctions LOA.
