Great lot of 9 hockey programs from the 30s and 40s that include a March 28, 1934 exhibition tilt between the Montreal Canadiens and the Quebec Castors of the old Canadian-American Hockey league; a December 21, 1939 Chicago Stadium Review featuring the Hawks vs Toronto; a 1941-42 AHL program featuring the New Haven Eagles against the hometown Springfield Indians; an April 6, 1945 "Sports Parade" benefit show program that featured a game between the "Amateur" All-Stars (enlisted players and others, including Navy's Doug Harvey) vs. the Montreal Royals and the Habs vs. Maroons; 2 Detroit Olympia programs - October 10, 1946 Wings vs. Habs, and November 27, 1946, Wings vs. Boston. We also have 3 programs from Maple Leaf Gardens – Dec. 20, 1947 Leafs-Red Wings, Nov. 24, 1948Habs-Leafs, and Dec. 28, 1949 Habs-Leafs. Breaking these programs down even further, the 1934 Habs-Castors 24-pager measures 6” x 9” and is complete and intact with creasing and some wear to the covers; the 1939 Chicago Stadium Review is 36 pages, measures 8 ½” x 11 ½” and is complete and in great condition; the 1941-42 Springfield Indians-New Haven Eagles program (with Eddie Shore playing defence for Springfield), measures approximately 7” x 10 ¼”, is 26 pages and complete, and aside from some dirt on the cover is in terrific shape; the 1945 Sports Parade program is 40 complete pages but the front and back covers are loose; the 2 Olympia programs are 30-pagers and are complete and intact with just some minor handling evidence to mention; from Toronto we see the Dec. 20, 1947 issue has a loose middle insert and some staining on the lineup page and on the outside front and back covers; the Nov. 24, 1948 MLG program is 80 pages, complete, intact, and in nice condition; and the Dec. 28, 1949 edition has a loose lineup page, has 84 pages in total, is complete and in overall nice condition.
