Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Preserved in astonishing condition is this vintage 1930s Stall & Dean leather hockey helmet with only some scuffing and a few light marks in places, making it evident this gem was only minimally worn. With the "Stall & Dean Brockton, Mass 5573 M" lettering on the outer forehead, this gorgeous 1930s find has clean stitching and soft leather straps, and frankly, we can't say enough about how beautiful this vintage headgear is. Also included is a dandy and well-used 1960s Kenesky leather goaltender's glove, with no holes or tears, all leather lacing nicely preserved, and with the Kenesky tag in place but lettering faded considerably. A great glove, and all it's guilty of is being well-used.
Add to these great vintage leather pieces a vintage pair of Quebec Aces-like wool socks (with feet) in nice shape with a few mending areas, and it's a killer threesome.
