Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Terrific vintage-style Oshawa Generals jersey, tagged in the collar as a CCM size "L", mirrors one of the types a teenaged Bobby Orr, fresh out of minor hockey in his hometown Parry Sound, wore when he suited up from 1963 to 1966 with the highly successful OHA club named after the city’s main employer General Motors. Orr wore number “2” with the Generals, with the same sewn-on number showing here, and Bobby has signed below the attractive sewn-on Generals team crest in nice and clear black marker. With the tie-neck lace, the somewhat scratchy material, and remaining in unmarked, flawless condition, it’s a beautiful replica of the jersey worn the man many call the greatest ever.
