Fan favorite Saku Koivu was in his first season as the Canadiens' captain when this “Last game of the 20th century” jersey was prepared for him. Koivu became Montreal's first European captain at the outset of the 1999-2000 season, which proved to be an injury-plagued campaign for the Finnish center. Saku, who was sidelined for the December 29th game against the Senators, still managed 21 points while limited to 24 games overall because of shoulder and knee injuries. His blue marker autograph sits beside the captain's C on the left breast and above the CH crest on the front of his game-issued #11 jersey, which has a Pro Player label and a size "54" flag tag in the back of the neck. One-of-a-kind collection features the Montreal Canadiens’ set of game-worn jerseys worn by players who suited up for the final game played by Les Glorieux in the 20th century when the Ottawa Senators paid a visit to the Molson Centre on December 29th, 1999. Each player, except for Miloslav Guren, has signed his respective Pro Player jersey in blue or black marker on the breast, with all featuring a special team stamp in the hem with the date of the game and Habs team logo. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, each of these unique gamers with the “NHL 2000” patch on the right breast will come with an LOA.
