Superb vintage panoramic team photo of the 1930-31 Montreal Canadiens was produced by the famed Rice Studio. Star scorers Howie Morenz and Aurele Joliat flank goalie George Hainsworth in the middle of this vintage 7 1/4" x 31" panoramic print which is beautifully displayed in a 9" x 32 3/4" brown frame. Members of the Canadiens sport a "World Champions" patch on their left sleeve. This magnificent panoramic photo of the first Canadiens team to win consecutive Stanley Cups was cut vertically 11 1/2" from the left edge in a blank space between Mondou and Wasnie. This historic panoramic Canadiens team photo remains overall in excellent condition, making it a worth addition to your Habs/Cup shrine. "Canadiens 1930-31" appears at the top of the shot with facsimile signatures beneath the names of everyone in the photo, which also includes Lepine, Rivers, Leduc, Larochelle, Gagnon, Burke, Sylvio Mantha, Georges Mantha, Lesieur, GM Leo Dandurand, coach Cecil Hart, and trainers McKenna and Dufour. Each of the two sections of the photo has triangular shaped tape marks in each corner, a total of eight in all. There are also horizontal one-inch tears extending from the edge midway up both sides, with one extending through the right side of McKenna's body on the left edge, and the other from the right edge which touches Dandurand's left hip.
