Fantastic find from the 1925-26 inaugural season of the old New York Americans and Toronto St. Pats were obtained from the family of Ken Randall, a member of the inaugural edition of the Amerks and the 1921-22 Cup champion St. Pats. Featured are an inaugural Amerks team photo and an Amerks inaugural season NHL full regular season schedule, each measuring about 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" and both mounted together on a 12” x 9” matte board. Also included is a vintage Lou Skuce artwork of Randall with the St. Pats that was most likely published in a newspaper and cut from there. It measures out to a shade under 9” x 5 1/4” and is displayed elevated in the recess in the middle of a 14 3/4" x 11 1/4" matte.
The Randall artwork by Skuce is mounted on a board. It has a vertical crease in the middle and is missing several portions of the original newsprint image with some text no longer present. Wonderfully displayed in its modern matte frame.
The vintage Americans inaugural team photo and 1925-26 NHL schedule pages, which are most likely Alex Taylor & Co. promotional pieces, have a few small stains on the edges. The schedule has a cellophane tape remnant along most of the left edge.
