Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Les Duff, who toiled in the AHL for the better part of 15 seasons from 1955 to 1970, mostly with the Rochester Americans, must have looked suave and debonair in his 1960s Americans team sports jacket with the classy “Rochester Americans” logo embroidered on the left breast. This fine blue jacket has the manufacturer “Chas. Creed” sewn on the one inside pocket, while the other inside pocket has “Cornwall Clothes Shop, Rochester New York” sewn on. Inside of this pocket is a handwritten “L. Duff”. No size tag is included, but is about a size 40, with condition showing slight wear in the collar and some staining on the inside lining. Les Duff is the older brother of longtime NHL star Dick Duff, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006.
