Terrific library of 12 vintage Montreal Royals programs offered, including a 1934 Royals vs. Rochester, 1942 vs. Toronto, 1942 vs. Buffalo, 1942 vs. Syracuse, 1943 vs. Buffalo, 1948 vs. St. Paul, 1949 vs. Indianapolis, 1949 vs. Rochester, 1952 vs. Syracuse, 1956 vs. Columbus, a circa-1957 vs. Cuba, 1958 vs. Cuba, 1960 vs. Cuba. The majority of these vintage Royals programs remain in good condition although some experience various markings and loose pages. Please see our website for more details. The 1934 issue measures 7” x 10” and is a 7-page affair, unmarked but the Rochester lineup has been damaged slightly. The 3 programs from 1942 measure 7” x 10” and are all 15-pages and unmarked, although the Syracuse example has a section of page 5 torn out. The 1943 and 1948 programs measure 7” x 10”, with the 1943 example, which is unmarked with 15 pages and the 1948 with 19 pages and filled in scorecards in pencil. The remainder measure 8” x 11’ and the 1949 issue vs. Indianapolis has 20 pages with pencilled-in scorecards, while the ’49 Rochester issue shows markings and loose pages. The 20-page 1952 vs. Syracuse is intact and complete with no markings, the 1956 Columbus program is unmarked but with a loose lineup page, the circa-1957 has a filled-in and loose lineup section, the 1958 issue has a filled-in lineup section, and the 1960 program has a loose lineup page and fold creasing.
